Medical Career
- I grew up in Russia, where I completed my early medical studies, before immigrating to Israel in 1999 where I worked at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem in Internal Medicine and also in the most advanced bone marrow transplant unit.
- I moved to New Zealand in 2006 and worked in Waikato Hospital and Christchurch Hospital before completion of haematology training in 2013.
- I took up a position at Waikato Hospital, where I still work as a consultant haematologist.
- My areas of expertise include general, malignant haematology, as well as diagnostic and laboratory haematology. My interests include a variety of lymphoid conditions including Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, CLL, as well as myeloid conditions including myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disorders. I also see patients with venous thromboembolic disorders.
- I actively participate in the Waikato Hospital Clinical Trial Unit.
